Davidson School in Haiti

The Florence Moffett Institute (aka Davidson School) is a Nazarene school and church in Haiti serving over 500 students in grades PK through 8th. VCN supports the school each year, and some of our members serve on the board of directors. It is solely funded by churches and individuals.

The school is located in rural Haiti near the city of Hinche. Without the school, our students would most likely never get a formal education. Supporting the school provides good jobs for teachers, a Christian-based education (including vocational training) for students, and peace of mind for parents. The school provides hope and empowerment for all involved.

We don’t assign a specific student to a sponsor at this time, but you can be assured you are providing tuition, a daily meal, books and a uniform for only $240 per year.
